SpaceX Boss Mistook Barack Obama for Cold Caller
Elon Musk has revealed how he almost hung up when Barack Obama telephoned to congratulate him on the successful launch of his company SpaceX's first craft into orbit, because he mistook the President for a cold-calling salesman.

Engineers chanted the PayPal tycoon's name as his Falcon 9 rocket took off from Earth earlier this week, carrying with it an unmanned Dragon capsule containing supplies for the International Space Station.
But despite the recognition he has enjoyed this week Mr Musk was unprepared for the call from the White House, which showed up as coming from an unknown number.
Following their conversation, Mr Musk wrote on Twitter: "The President just called to say congrats. Caller ID was blocked, so at first I thought it was a telemarketer :)"
The launch this week marked the first commercial transit to the space station, and could pave the way for SpaceX to assume responsibility for transferring supplies and crew to the ISS in future after the retirement of Nasa's space shuttles.
The Dragon has already reached the space station and flown about 8,000ft beneath it, and performed various tests to demonstrate that it is in perfect working condition.
It was scheduled to close in on the station today and attempt to berth with the ISS, with the help of a robotic arm, enabling the station's six-man crew to unload 1,000lbs of supplies and fill it with rubbish to return to Earth.
The company has also announced it has orders for 40 rocket launches, worth an estimated $4 billion (£2.5 billion). It will adapt its Dragon capsule to carry up to seven astronauts.
The Falcon rocket also blasted into space the cremated remains of 300 people including actor James Doohan who played Scotty in TV's original Star Trek and its spin-off movies.
